It's Summer Time!

It's summer time.
The hay crops are cut again.

The blackberries are beginning to ripen.

This little guy enjoys the raspberry patch.

The sunflowers have reseeded from last year's wedding,
and become part of the boys alien garden....and away they go....

into the back 40 where there lies a maze of trails, an alien's garden, and hours of play.

"Imagination is the beginning of creation.
You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine
and at last you create what you will."
George Bernard Shaw

The Chilliwack Corn is planted and ready for late harvest. September!

The wheat has a glowing color, just like the smile of his face..

It's summer time and for now I am going to take a break.
We've got fun things going on with our family,
and I'll  be back in the fall.

"Then followed that beautiful season....Summer!
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light;
and the landscape lay as if newly created in all the freshness of childhood".
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

  3. Time to play - to be little ones - to imagine....those are such gifts to give to our grandchildren who are growing up in a world that values technology and conformity. Have a great summer, Marg!

  5. A garden and field of dreams for your precious little guys to play.....there is nothing like a farm for children to learn and spend time. Happy summer times to you all!

  8. Those boys looks so happy. They are blessed to have Oma and Opa and to be able to 'play' in the farm fields.
    Enjoy your summer!
