Grizzly Time!!!

Here's a postcard from my travels along the Peter Lougheed Park. (Kananaskis Country)
I have never seen a grizzly in my entire life.
We just rolled around a corner, and I looked down at the river, and exclaimed, 
"Are those buffalo?"
The SUV halted to a screech and was thrust into reverse....
And there below, in the distance stood four grizzly bears.
We looked at them, they looked at us...and all I can think about, is that
I do not want to come in contact with them on any mountainous adventure.
 I wonder what I will find on my next day trip?

  3. That's an encounter that gives you bragging rights! Not many can say they've seen one Grizzly, let alone Four! Aren't you glad you had your camera handy?

  5. That is just amazing! What a great spotter you are. I can well imagine the driver did not mind backing up for you to get that shot!

  6. Oh, wouldn't the little guys have loved to see! Too bad they were not along on this field trip. You will have to make a lesson out of this, though.

    Wow! That's a once in a lifetime experience! To see so many of them all grazing and foraging together! I'm sure you both won't ever forget this!
    Hope you have/had a wonderful trip! Aren't the Kananaskis gorgeous? We would love to see that area again, there's so much wildlife and spectacular views! Have a great day!
