Friday's here so fast...
This week I sort of wanted to share all the negative things.
Ooops! I realized...this was to share the highlights...
so I started thinking and found so many pleasant memories, after all.
Thank you Susanne, our host out at Living to Tell the Story.

to share with long-time friends.
Strawberry Mousse Cheese Cake
It helps brighten up those cold winter days.
This gift lasts forever...
Honestly, that's no Bull!
So I delighted in making a small package that comes from the heart.
I hope it gets tucked away, and received in well order.
It always good to get together and enjoy a breakfast out,
better yet, its a good time to reflect about our lives.
Hope you can all find something good about your past week.
I'm glad you had a nice week. The salad/desert looks heavenly, the gift bag for your daughter will be much appreciated, and isn't it nice to spend time with friends (and sisters)! Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteMarg, you know I am seeing pink in this post, and you know pink makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteAnd, those orchids are just exquisite.
Good days, good weeks. Life is good.
Oh wonderful favorites Marg. That orchid is stunning.
ReplyDeleteI've had a good week and I think the weekend will be great too.
I like how you turned your focus to the good things in your week. We all have both, but it helps to dwell on the good. Looks to me like you sent love and received love. Blessings on you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful things to cheer you this week. I rejoice with you.
ReplyDeleteOh it is a good exercise to see the good in our sometimes ugly weeks. I'm so glad you found all this joy this week Marg. That dessert looks amazing and the orchids are over the top! Beautiful. Ha! No bull...I'm glad you were able to get together with Judy and your sister!
ReplyDeleteThere's lots of good stuff happening over there...I know! And you're really good at making 'lemonade from lemons'...and learning from those things that are not so positive. It's always good to catch up over coffee!
ReplyDeleteLove those orchids!
The best kind of week is the one after which you can say 'I made something with that'....when there wasn't much to work with!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a peaceful weekend.
My sister and I are 12 years apart too. Unfortunately we rarely get together because we live 1000 miles apart ....
ReplyDeleteThat strawberry cheesecake looks so yummy ... as does the orchids!
That Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse looks heavenly!
ReplyDeleteI've really never seen such beautiful orchids. Just lovely. And here's to our sisters!
Have a great week ahead.
Looks like a fun week! Thanks for that recipe, looks like one I would really enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteSuch fun posts - just catching up here! Love that vase with orchids - we have a big vase like that at work and now I know what to put into it!!
ReplyDeleteBetween the strawberry dessert and the orchid....I am feeling spring simply by visiting your blog!! :) And ha ha you crack me up with your statement and pic of your coffee date being no bull! :) Enjoyed visiting your blog today!
ReplyDeleteHi Marg!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are great today... the cake, the package of love to your daughter and the fun picture with your sister!
I love your reminder to stay postitive...
I just reminded my daughter to think positive...and make the most of each moment. She needs to make the most of a very short weekend visit with a friend... Keeping things positive {no complaining about airplane delays} will double her time together :o)
Have a sweet weekend, Marg!

Lovely list, Marg!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy the 'good' trumped the negative! and left you grateful for your blessings... not the least of which is a sister to share things with over coffee!
I'd love to have some of that yummy looking dessert ! Mmmm....
The orchids in that vase are stunning! What a blessing. And your cake is making my mouth water. I am so going to try that out.
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of you and your sister.
Thank you for the nice things you said on my blog. I'm sure your daughter realizes how lucky she is to have your help! Life is hectic, but good!
