A Dream Come True

It was back a few years ago,
as I stood standing on a sea port in Honolulu,
looking at a huge cruise line, thinking and dreaming,
what it would look like to go on a cruise?

Well it took a few years of dreaming and pinching pennies and points.
The question was asked,
What do we have to do to make this happen?
It was quite clear that we needed to make a plan.
And that's what we did and here we are....

Actually anticipating our first cruise in the Mediterranean.

I'm pinching myself, not believing the time has finally come.

But more than just that,
We're so happy to go back and visit family.
We had such a fulfilling time last year,
and we knew a short stop over would be a delightful rest.

So Friday at noon,
I'm anticipating our arrival at the aiport.
A thirty minute ride and we'll be at our Home Away from Home.

Up the windy road,
just around one more corner,

Down the hill and in the distance,
is our new Home Again for two weeks.

A Bavarian home with our own suite.

Flowers will have lined the balconies, greeting us.
Envision me sitting on this deck, journaling.
I can't wait!
The view is inspirational!

This is the view from my bedroom window.
As long as I don't need to chase those cows.

This is the back view of the rolling hills, with the Maypole.
They have just finished celebrating their Maypole Events.
Wouldn't it be fun to stroll through these meadows together?

Last but not least, this is the beautiful family that will be hosting us.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things,
you didn't do, than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines.

Sail away from the safe harbor.

Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore.

Dream.

Discover.
