The Top!

Remember last week Monday I said,
I was hoping the sky would clear?

I made it to the top of Mt Cheam!
Cheam is 9.5 KM round trip,
High point is 2112 m (6929 ft)
Elevation gain 665 m (2175 ft)

Some may win medals at Beijing,
but I'm happy just playing in the mountains.

Over the next few days watch for posts
sharing this adventure.

Of course, not without the help of my
Qualified Assistants.

More on my adventure tomorrow.
I'm off to check things out at the hospital.

  2. I'd been meaning to ask you about your Mt. Cheam adventure...was wondering when we would get the report. So glad you made it! What an awesome sight from up there, eh? It's been 9 years since my last hike up there...and I'm ready to go again.

  5. Good for you, Marg, for climbing our most famous local mountain. What a great feeling of accomplishment, each time you do it! I, too, like Judy, would like to climb it again. Maybe together? Dairymary

  8. You must feel proud of your accomplishment - both physically and emotionally. I bet the view was spectacular from the top. Here is a link to an article I thought you would be interested in - this incredible woman lives close to my hometown. Keep on moving!
