Jesus Loves the Little Children

Jesus Loves the little Children of the World

Last Sunday when I walked into church once again,
I was blown away with the actions of the littles ones.
A family of adults was sitting two rows in front of us.
All of a sudden 5 little children 3-8 years of age came
tiptoeing in, turned around facing us and quickly kneeled simultaneously.
They had received all their bulletin color books from the ushers.
And they were busy coloring and admiring each others' pictures.
The girls were mused with the buttons on there sweaters,
deciding whether it looked better open or closed.
You could tell that they were cousins and there parents would
always turn around and nod their heads and I would just Smile.
These children were worshiping in their own way.

The familiar song, Jesus Loves Me, came to my heart immediately.

Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong,
They are weak but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me! He who died,
Heaven's gate to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me! loves me still,
When I'm very weak and ill;
From His shining throne on high,
Comes to watch me where I lie.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me! He will stay,
Close beside me all the way;
He's prepared a home for me,
And some day His face I'll see.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

Too often we shoosh those little ones away
and expect them to be quiet.

Guess who's little voice I heard singing that song this week?
May your week be blessed with thinking about the little ones.
